New Zealand, Austria and Poland have named the horse-and-rider combinations that will compete in the team competition at the Blue Hors FEI World Dressage Championships in Herning, Denmark, Aug. 6-10.

Equestrian Sports New Zealand has announced three dressage pairs. This will be the first time New Zealand has fielded a team for the world championships since 1998.

• Melissa Galloway and Windermere J’Obei W
• John Thompson and Chemistry

Following the final observation trial in Achleiten, Austria, the Austrian equestrian federation has named five horse-and-rider combinations; the reserve will be specified at a later date.

• Victoria Max-Theurer and Birkhof’s Topas FBW
• Christian Schumach and Donna Karacho
• Renate Voglsang and Fürst Ferdinand Zur Fasanenhoehe
• Stefan Lehfellner and Roberto Carlos MT

Poland has named four pairs:

• Anna Mierzwińska and Dean Martin
• Katarzyna Milczarek and Guapo
• Żaneta Skowrońska-Kozubik and Romantic P
• Aleksandra Szulc and Breakdance
